Transcripts of CARVE_intro Hi, so my name is Chip Miller. I'm the deputy science lead for the NASA ABoVE, Arctic Boreal Vulnerability Experiement. And we're here today, Wednesday, the 13th of July, 2016 in Fox, Alaska, up on top of a mountain and behind me you can see what we call the CARVE or CRV tower. From the top of the tower, we're actually making measurements of carbon dioxide, methane, carbon monoxide and water vapor, which allows us to understand carbon cycling in Alaska. And we're doing this continuously, once every second, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
